Thinking about an Aquarium? |

Aquariums make a nice addition to any home, however if you're thinking about adding an Aquarium, you might want to do a little research to see what would be the best fit for you. As I found in my won research, there are many different kinds of Aquariums and each one has its own special needs. Once you have that figured out, the next question is, where to put the Aquarium. Although, I think figuring out the location might be a bit more important. Because Aquariums come in all sizes, and some might need to be bigger. So if you have a smaller space, you'd be better off just having a small fish bowl. I have no pets and have thought about getting a fish bowl just so that I can have a pet. But I just don't have the room for even a small fish bowl in my over crowded room. Which is where the small aquarium would be.
There are also health benefits to having an Aquarium. Studies have shown that people who watch fish in Aquariums have noticeably lower blood pressure, as well as pulse rate. This is beneficial for people with high stress jobs. Aquariums also help reduce anxiety, which is why they are common in doctors and dentists offices. Of course now I'm thinking of the scene in Finding Nemo where the evil child with braces runs up to the Aquarium and taps on the glass. It really doesn't take much for me to be reminded of a movie or TV show.:)
