aquarium, reptile


     I just purchased an aquarium online for the first time last week. I have always had Parrots or Cockatiels, even a hamster, but now I am going to attempt to keep and take care of a reptile. Snake tending, according to my research is actually easy. Snakes are very low maintenance and are definitely a conversation piece. My ecosystem is a 100 gallon tank and I have actually made it its own ecosystem. I have a small Ball Python in it and some lizards and frogs. I also installed a small pump to circulate water in the little pond that I made for the reptiles. Add the plants and rocks and it looks like a small jungle.


     The aquarium is the center piece for my living room. I built the aquarium into the wall so it looks like it is part of the house. My friends love to watch my snake when she is getting ready to feed. How she stalks her prey and how fast she strikes and then disappears into the vegetation is amazing. Snakes are definitely cool!
