My Family's First Aquarium |

Little did I know when I purchased our first aquarium that my daughter would soon begin collecting so many different animals that we would become the neighborhood zoo. Our first pet was the cutest little teddy bear hamster we named Harvey. We would watch him for hours as he ran and ran on his seemingly endless journey on his squeaky little wheel. Next, we bought two white Cockatiels and two beautiful parrots that perched inside their cage quickly mimicking every word we said, sometimes even repeating our cat’s meows. Our home was entertaining to say the least.
Now, my children had to do some persuading to get me to allow a reptile into the house but they eventually convinced me to purchase an Iguana. It was my son’s idea and upon bringing it home we had every neighborhood child at our door wanting to tour our indoor zoo. The ease of online shopping made purchasing pet food, vitamins, and even pet accessories so easy and I must admit shopping online always beat wandering the aisles of the local pet store.
So now we are looking at turtles . . . when you have a zoo, there is always room for one more!
