reptile, aquariumMy daughter said the children were finally old enough for a pet. They still are too young to go out walking with a dog. We had a family conference about which kind of pet would be the best to teach the kids responsibility and also have a pet they could touch and feel close to. We talked about parrots, and a hamster but after much discussion it became apparent that we would buy a reptile. We have seen so much advertising with Geckos that we all decided to look into purchasing one. We went on line and learned all about the leopard gecko and we bought a 20 gallon tank aquarium with all the supplies necessary to take good care of this reptile. We bought a baby female and a baby male because we were told they do better when they are no alone. They really are so cute. The aquarium we set up is beautiful and there are many natural looking sections in the tank for the geckos to feel at home. They are great fun to watch.
