aquarium

A couple of years ago, my boyfriend wanted us to get an aquarium. He had always had one before we moved in together, so he had the know-how to effectively set up an aquarium and maintain it. Plus, he missed having a fish tank in his home. Although I dearly love my pets, I had never had much interest in fish. I figured, I couldn't take them for a walk, play with them, or curl up with them on the couch, so I mean really, what was the point? But I knew how much my boyfriend wanted an aquarium, so I acquiesced and agreed to help him buy one and set it up. And of course, we would pick out the fish together. Once we began choosing our fish, I began to realize what unique and interesting creatures they are. Soon, I was watching them all the time. When I get up in the morning, the first thing I do is check on the fish to make sure they are all there and all doing ok. After a long and stressful day at work, all I want to do is watch my tiny gilled friends swim around and take care of their business. I wasn't too keen on having an aquarium at first, but I have to admit that ours has added beauty to our home and provided me with hours of entertainment and relaxation.
