Finding Discounted Food for Her Parrots Online

I was out for my evening walk yesterday and as I walked by my neighbor’s house I could hear her parrots making a lot of noise. She had the windows open and if she didn’t I wouldn’t have heard them. The parrots are beautiful and I usually feed them when she goes on vacation or away for a weekend. As I was walking past, she walked outside and greeted me. I wasn’t planning on stopping, but she walked towards me giving me the impression that she wanted to talk. I was right. We exchanged a few pleasantries and then she asked if I knew where she could find some food for the parrots online for a good price. She said a friend had told her that she’d been paying too much for the food for her parrots and thought if I knew of somewhere, that she could try ordering their food online and see how it went. Since I don’t have birds, I told her I wasn’t sure but that I’d spend some time this weekend researching and once I found some information I would invite her over and we could see if she could find what she was looking for. She seemed pleased with that answer. Now I just need to find the time to do the research.

Son Wants Reptile for Birthday

Two days ago my son came into the kitchen and asked if he could have a reptile. At first, I thought he was joking and was going to ask for something like an alligator, but when I looked up at him, I could see that he was serious. I knew he had a birthday coming up and I had a feeling that he wanted the reptile for his birthday and after asking a few questions, I found that I was correct. He said that when he spent the weekend with his friend Henry, that he had a snake and thought it would be fun to have one as well. He told me they didn’t cost much, because that particular reptile only eats once a month.

I’ll admit, that I’m not a huge fan of snakes, but for my son’s sake I decided to call Henry’s mom and talk to her. She said that when he first asked for a reptile she wasn’t thrilled about it either, but it really wasn’t a big deal and there was a place online where we could get supplies for a very inexpensive price. Looks like he may get his birthday wish after all.

When my son turned 5 I promised him that we would set up an aquarium in the living room. He started asking for one when he was 3 and saw one at the dentist’s office, but I wanted him to be able to help maintain the aquarium, so I told him when he turned 5 that we would start one. I kept my promise and last year my husband and I set up a beautiful aquarium in the living room. What I didn’t know, was that the chemicals and other items would be so expensive. Granted, I don’t need to buy them that often, but when I do, I’d like to know that I’m getting the most for my money and I haven’t felt that way. I recently decided to look online after a friend told me that she gets all her aquarium equipment for a better price. I didn’t put much stock in the idea, but I was pleasantly surprised when I went and actually checked. I placed an order and know that it’s the first of many. I can’t imagine paying the local prices again after seeing the difference in the prices between online and the local retailer. It just goes to show what the mark up is on some of the products we buy and I prefer to keep that cash in my pocket.

My sister and her family went on vacation last week and she asked if we would be willing to keep their daughter hamster while they were gone. Even though we do have a cat, I figured since the hamster was in a cage it would be perfectly safe and I was right. The cat was definitely fascinated with it, but I never got the impression that he wanted to do anything but play with it given the opportunity. When my sister returned home, she picked up the hamster and my daughter started talking about how much she missed it and would like to have one of her own. I knew that I could get great prices for food and other items for the hamster online, but I wasn’t sure that my daughter would really take care of the little critter the way she was promising. It’s definitely something we’re going to have to think about before committing to getting another animal, but I know that it would be great to help teach Rachel about being responsible with pets. She does great with the cat, but it’s a family pet so it’s also a family effort. I’m still unsure, so I’ll have to give it some more thought.

New Hamster Will Blow Nephew’s Mind on his Birthday!

My brother’s son is about to turn four years old, and I have really been wracking my brains as to what I can get for him that will really make him smile come his special day. I happen to know that he has always wanted a hamster, and I was talking to my brother over the phone the other day to see if I could his and his wife’s stamp of approval on getting his son a new hamster for his birthday. I finally got them to agree to it and we are actually now planning on making that hamster a group gift. Because there are so many different things that you need to get when you buy a hamster, like the cage, the food, the wheel, and the watering feed, it can really add up, even if you are shopping online. So now we are going to all going in together and get him a really sweet hamster setup that should blow his mind, and make him the happiest little four year old in the world come his birthday in just a few short months. I can’t wait to see the look on his sweet little face when he sees that hamster!

He Takes Great Care of His Hamster

My mom and dad gave my son a hamster for his birthday and he has done so well with taking care of it that I’m extremely impressed. I’ll admit being a bit skeptical when it came to the idea of giving my son a hamster because I didn’t really think that he’d take care of it. I figured that it would end up being one of those things that I had to add to my list of daily chores because my son had other things that he’d rather do. My parents were insistent on giving him a hamster for his birthday, so I finally said ok. As soon as he saw it, he promised me he’d take care of it, and surprisingly he’s done just that. Yesterday afternoon he came to me and said he was running low on food, so this morning I’m going to spend a little time online ordering some hamster food and also some treats for it. My son is convinced he’s going to teach the hamster tricks and while I’m not sure that is even possible, I figure he will have fun trying so why not?

For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted a salt water aquarium in my home. The only problem was, my husband and I didn’t really have the room for an aquarium, but he promised when the day came that we built a new home that the one thing we’d make sure we did was make room for one. I knew that a salt water aquarium would be more work than regular fresh water, but the fish were so beautiful and I found them to be so peaceful that I was more than willing to do the extra work to keep it looking beautiful. Finally our time came about a year ago and we moved. Sure enough, there was plenty of room for the aquarium and recently I decided it was time to make our dream a reality. I started looking for equipment online and found some really great prices. From there I ordered the filters and the pump and other items, and I’ve now got everything in house to get it started. This coming week I’m going to actually get it going and once the water is ready, I’ll bring on the fish. I can’t wait.

Adding Life to My Bedroom with an Aquarium

Ever since I first went to my childhood doctor’s office and saw the large aquarium filled with colorful fish and plants in the waiting room, I’ve loved them. Living in an apartment with a roommate who already has a small dog, I wanted a pet of my own. Something that wouldn’t be hard to take care of but at the same time added some life to our place. I decided to buy a small aquarium online for a Betta fish. I started out with multiple Betta fish but a one of them died and I never replaced him.

Who I call Big Blue is floating around the small aquarium on my bedroom dresser right now. He survived a move to another apartment and has never been sick. Not sure why he is so much stronger willed then the last one but that is I guess how it goes. He is an electric blue, with dark markings and sharp looking fins. For such a small aquarium, it still calls for weekly cleanings, not to mention feeding and making sure everything is all right in there. It makes me very happy I did not buy a dog.

When I was a child, I had a pet hamster. My parents allowed me to get one with the condition that I would be the one taking care of the pet. I agreed and went out to get my first pet hamster. I chose one at the pet store that I liked. He was so cute, all round and fat. I bought him a cage and liner, a ball to walk on the floor in, and a wheel for his cage, all with my own money. I took care of him and his cage, changing the liner out every couple of days. He was a lot of fun, but also taught me a lot about responsibility. Even if I didn't want to, I had to care for him or he could die. I made sure he had food and water every day, and I played with him and loved on him. I enjoyed watching my hamster walk around the house in his walking ball. Without the ball, he could have gotten lost so I never let him out of the ball to walk around. The ball was big enough that he couldn't go under any furniture or under doors.

My Beautiful Aquarium Decorations

I just bought my second Aquarium for the living room. I love to have Aquariums around the house because they are so relaxing. It is so nice to read a book and listen to the water and watch the fish swim around. The Aquarium did not have much in it but rocks. I knew it would look so much better if I got a few decorations. I started looking online for some decorations that were not to over powering. I just wanted something to enhance the Aquarium and make the fish feel more comfortable. The fish like things to swim through, places to sleep and hide in. It also looks more appealing and relaxing when the Aquarium decorations are flowing with the movement of the water. Once I received my new Aquarium decorations and set up the tank it looked so much better. Now the filter and the bubbles were hidden and the fish were excited. The fish were more active and the Aquarium was more of a focal point. I am so happy to find products available online to decorate all my fish tanks.

My Little Sister's Crazy Hamster

My little sister just got her very first Hamster. She is so in love with her new pet and is trying her hardest to be a great pet owner. The funny thing is this Hamster is wild! She went online with my help and bought him a Hamster wheel because obviously we all assume the little rodents just love those wheels because you see Hamsters on TV and in the movies running like crazy on them. I just did not know how much they love them. I mean the Hamster does not get bored with this toy. He has so much energy. He escaped from his cage the other day and took off around the house running in circles for over an hour. We finally got the Hamster back in the cage and he took off on his Hamster wheel. It was like he was not even tired of the hour of major workout he just endured. It is so funny to watch him. When my little sister tries to pet him he runs away and when she feeds him he runs in circles for at least five minutes before he eats. This Hamster does not get tired no matter what. Even late at night I can hear him in her room next door running around in his wheel. I do not know how my sister got this wild Hamster but it is very entertaining and he just loves his wheel. We are excited to order more toys to see what else this crazy Hamster will do.

I bought my six year old son a couple of Reptiles. Out of all the different pets I showed him online he kept pointing out the Reptiles. Of course I should have figured this because he is in fact a boy. When I was a kid I can remember getting a couple different pets and when I did not know how to take care of them I felt like a bad pet owner. I did not want my son to feel this way ever. So I did research online to learn how to keep his Reptiles alive and healthy. I found these UV lights online and read that they will keep the tank nice and warm to resemble their natural climate. It is important that your Reptiles live as closely as they can to their natural habitat. I read these light will create the same environment as the desert. My son was excited that I cared about his new pets as much as he did. He was also excited to learn as much as he could about them so he could tell all his friends about his new Reptiles. I can say that he is the coolest kid on the block with his new pets and it is so cute to hear him in his room telling all his friends all the information we both learned online.

My Parrots Love Their New Playground!

I have three Parrots that I adore. I have had many different types of birds in my life and my Parrots are my favorite! I recently bought a bird playground set online to see if my Parrots would be into it. They loved it! I put the playground in their cage and figured it would take a little while for my Parrots to get used to it. Right as I put it in their cage they hopped right on it and started playing. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen. They usually do not like anything in their cage taking up space, but with their new playground they do not mind at all. I was never able to find anything similar to this amazing find I came across online. I was very happy to be able to purchase something that they actually enjoy. They have had their new playground for over a month now and they are still into it as if it was a new toy. They are lucky Parrots to have such a great toy to play with everyday.

When I was just a few years old, my parents bought a few different Parrots for our house. I had never had had any birds as pets before, and I was kind of scared of them as a little boy. After the initial fear of the birds though, I realized that they were actually really loving, and amazing learners. I was so interested in them as a young boy, and always loved to play with them. I can not think of anything more fun than sitting there, and talking to your pets. Not to mention having them talk back to you! It is fun that anyone can enjoy, no matter what age you are.
After years of owning Parrots, I decided to buy a few more. I started searching online one day, and found that I could buy them online! I was so impressed that I could search through all sorts of pictures and descriptions of the birds, and read the reviews of people who had gotten birds online before. After reviewing all of the facts, I decided upon getting a nice classic red Parrot. I named him Nemo, and he loves to talk to my kids! I love Parrots!

New Plants For Our Aquarium

I am a true believer that change is a very good thing, even to the smallest detail. When I decided to re-decorate my kids rooms, I also decided to change the decor inside of their aquariums as well. It may sound silly to some people, but I actually bought new plants that would match their rooms better.

Shopping for new aquarium plants was very easy, I just went online to our favorite pet superstore and bought them from there. I always find the cheapest prices and the widest selection of goods when I shop online and buying new plants was just as easy. I am so glad that I did not have to go to an actual pet store to buy the supplies that I wanted. If I can, I will avoid going into another pet store again at all costs.

Now that the plants in my kid's aquariums match their rooms, everything looks to be in better order. I love that everything matches and I will go out of my way to keep their rooms as such. It even seems as though the fish like their new surroundings!

I Love Our Hamster!

Last month my kids asked me the question that many parents dread and know is coming. My kids asked me if they could get a pet. I knew that if I said yes, I would most likely be the one taking care of it. Either way, I decided to cave in and buy them a hamster. Going out to buy our new pet was a lot of fun and my kids were on their best behavior.

After about the third pet store, we finally found our perfect hamster. We bought the very basic supplies and went home. However, by the end of the week, I was desiring more fun toys for our little hamster. This time I decided to buy the pet products online, due to the fact that pet stores are not my most favorite places on the planet. After a few minutes of shopping, I had found everything my hamster could possibly want and need.

We love our little guy and he seems to be pretty happy as well. I have to say that I was really surprised by my kids and the way that they took on the responsibility of having a pet. I am really glad that I agreed to a pet!

Doing A Report On Cockatiels

Two months ago my son came home with his first report assignment of his school career and both my husband and I were really excited. We both knew that it was going to be really fun because it was going to be about cockatiels. I did not know much about these animals, but I was excited to learn.

My son and I went online that day and bought a book on cockatiels from an online superstore and just a few days later, the book arrived to our door. We had a great time reading all about these cute birds and looking at the pictures. I have never seen my son more interested in learning before. He did a fantastic job on his report, I feel that he exceeded what was expected of him.

Learning about cockatiels was a very interesting experience for our whole family. We were ecstatic when my son received an A on his first report ever, we even discussed possibly buying one as a pet! We will just have to wait and do a little more research on those great birds before we decide.

I Take Great Care Of My Parrots

When I was growing up, I always wanted to keep parrots, but my mom was seriously afraid of birds. The first thing that I did when I moved from home for the first time was buy two parrots. I fell in love with them right away and since I set my eyes on the pair I have taken the best possible care of them. I even buy my birds a honey treat that they go crazy over!

I have been buying all of the food, treats and accessories for my birds at an online superstore. After doing comparisons to the prices at all of my local pet stores, it became obvious that buying my birds their supplies online was saving me an outstanding amount of money. Knowing what I do about the quality and prices of my parrots daily needs products, I would never shop in a pet store again.

I am extremely confident that I am taking the best possible care of my pets and I will continue to do so. I love my birds and I hope that with my care they will be around for a long time.

My backyard has to be one of the most fascinating places in the United States. We are such a lucky family because every morning when we look out our windows, we see the beautiful red rocks of Sedona. Raising my family in the gorgeous surroundings of Sedona has not only provided a pristine visual setting for our lives, but I have also been able to teach my children about reptiles and other animals first hand.

On the weekends, the four of us go out for a walk together and my sons bring along their reptile ranches to collect specimens in. We always come back with a reptile or two as they are my two son's favorite type of animal. When we get home we go on the internet and look up what we have found. My sons love learning when they get to experience nature first hand.

Taking the time to teach my kids about reptiles and other animals has done more than just educate them on the science of nature, it has also taught them to have a high level of respect for mother Earth.

My new Aquarium is fantastic!

        For many years now, I have wanted to have my own Aquarium for my house. Every time when I was a little kid, and I would go to the library, I would see the most amazing Aquarium exhibits ever. Since those days as a kid, I have always wanted to have my own, basically. So, last month, I decided to finally make my childhood dream a reality, and I went about getting my own Aquarium.
        I began by firing up my great computer, because the internet is the best place in the world to find deals on anything. It did not take me more than just a few minutes to find exactly what I was looking for for my fish home, and I ordered everything that I would need right from the same web site.
        In just a few short and brief days later, I received a few boxes containing all of my fish stuff. It was so easy to set up, and I had everything completed in a day or two. Now, I love to show it off at parties, or just invite people over to check it out!
